“I bought the book for my husband as a birthday gift because he’s a carpenter. He wasn’t keen on the love scenes but loved the references to fixing up a house and all that entailed. He said the author was very familiar with what it might take to renovate a house. I also read it and found it interesting. The love scenes are very secondary to the plot. When I bought the book from Miriam, she told me I wouldn’t need oven mitts but it was a little hot. I thought that was funny and she was right.”
